Hi Everyone,

A friend at the American Bird Conservancy in D.C. sent me this link
yesterday, and I thought it might be of interest to many of you. It allows
you to easily add your name to a petition that will be sent to the governors
of New Jersey and Delaware, requesting a halt to horseshoe crab harvesting
during the key spawning period to protect Red Knots and other shorebirds. Of
course, feel free to share this with anyone else that you think might be
interested. I believe techniques like this can become extremely powerful in
showing the breadth of support for such programs.
