A few migrant shorebirds are still straggling through this season. Today at the Mason Dixon Farm east pond along with 12 Killdeer were 3 Semipalmated Sandpipers and 2 White-rumped Sandpipers. The Dickcissel is still singing there but the Bobolinks seem to have moved on since the big field was mowed.
Atlasing today in the Taneytown NW block produced some more Dickcissels. Several were in Pennsylvania singing on Mason Dixon Road this morning.
