Greetings:

Lee and I visited the dickcissel on Landing neck Road at about 8:15 - 8:30
this morning. It took a few minutes after we arrived for the bird(s) to
appear. The male sang from a perch on top of the pokeberry(?) clump to
the left of the truck track, then flew to the right and joined what
appeared to be the female, but the light at that time of the morning was
in a bad direction. Also, it meant staring towards a house on the
adjacent lot with the binocs on Sunday morning with 4 cars in the
driveway, so was a bit uncomfortable.

Anyway, a life bird for both of us, so thanks Wayne, Les, and everyone
else who's found and reported these birds!

Good birding!
