Hi Folks,

Norm Saunders was kind enough to allow me to include the following posting:

Two local Montgomery County MD birders, Rick Sussman and Gemma Radko
will be conducting birding programs this coming Saturday, June 25. This
is part of the Celebrate Nature weekend sponsored by Black Hill Visitor
Center and Meadowside Nature Center. Rick will conduct a bird walk at
Blue Mash Nature Trail from 7-9 am. Gemma will do a bird banding
demonstration at Adventure Park from 7-9 am.
There is a $5 fee per person per program and registration is required.
Please phone 301 916-0220 or 301 972-3476 for Gemma's program and 301
924-4141 for Rick's program. If you already have a ParkPass Account
(www.parkpass.org) you may register/pay online. Please come out and
support your local nature centers and your birding colleagues! Thanks

PS For nature lovers, there are also butterfly walks, dragonfly walks,
bluebird trail walk, wildlife watching pontoon boat tours, native
wildflower walk at Hoyles Mill Conservation Park, and a night hike with
that locally famous wildlife ecologist/naturalist Rob Gibbs, to look for
coyotes, foxes, owls, and other nocturnal wildlife. Call for more info.
