Hi John, 

I located an Eastern Kingbird nest with young along
Sligo Avenue in Silver Spring about this time last
year.  This is less than a mile (south)east of the
Silver Spring Metro station.  The nest was in a Black
Locust over the sidewalk not terribly far from a bus
stop, in an area that only has a few tall trees.  I
was surprised that a kingbird would nest in such a
concrete-laden area, though I had seen kingbirds
during the previous two summers.
