Birding on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

I believe that Mr. Armistead has mentioned in his postings about birding
restrictions on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.  Mr. Armas Hill from
Birdline Delaware provided the following info in his 22 June report about
this issue:

Here's an interesting piece of information recently obtained on the
internet, especially if you're thinking of driving south from the Northeast
US to North Carolina via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. This is what it's
now come to:
Starting on July 1st, if an individual birder or a group of birders wants to
bird the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, it will require reservations in
advance, photo ID, to be subject to a security check, be escorted by a
Bridge Tunnel security staff member, and pay, in advance, a fee of $50 per
hour.
