Ray Kiddy and I heard and eventually saw not one but 2 Sedge Wrens at the
intersection of Bald Knob and Blank Road this morning (North of Bald Knob
Road). There were no singing wrens at the spot West of Blank Road where
one had been seen previously. Still some singing Henslowe's Sparrows and
calling Bobolinks.

At North Branch today (8/13) there was a good assortment of Shorebirds
(all numbers are very approximate).

Wood Duck - 2
SANDERLING - 1
Killdeer - 47 ? (that was the count yesterday anyway)
Semipalmated Plover - 3
Pectoral Sandpiper - at least 3
Least Sandpiper - 10
Semipalmated Sandpiper - at least 2
Spotted Sandpiper - at least 2
Solitary Sandpiper - at least 2

Baltimore Oriole - 1
