Today at 1 pm a Great Egret was present on the south side of the Eastern 
Avenue bridge over the Anacostia.  It was standing at the edge of the 
island.  I also noticed a Great Blue Heron flapping westbound over 
Kenilworth Avenue, perhaps headed for KAG, a short while later.
