The Blue-winged Warbler posted below should have read GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER
(male). -- Tom

Blue Mash Nature Trail, Zion Road Section, Montgomery County, 11 Sep 05,
0730-1030

As Rick Sussman stated in his earlier post, it was a most excellent
morning
along the BMNT. The BLUE-WINGED WARBLER was indeed a thrill, a lifer
for me
and BMNT #142. The PHILADELPHIA VIREO was my second one seen and BMNT
#143.

Raptors did rule this morning: 2 flyover Osprey; 2-No. Harrier inside
the
landfill; 2-Coopers Hawk (1 in leisurely pursuit of a MODO); 3
Red-shouldered Hawk; 40+ Broad-winged Hawk (various kettles, singles or
fly-by groups; )and 1 flyover Am. Kestrel. 20 or so Black Vulture added
to
the aerial display.
