Roosevelt Island, Wash, DC, 13 Sep 05, 1130-1230

The din of planes passing directly overhead every few minutes on final
approach to Reagan-National made for a less than idyllic lunchtime walk.
Nonetheless, 25 species observed.  Migratory highlights included:
1-Ruby-throated Hummingbird; 6-empids; 1-E. Phoebe; 1-E. Kingbird;
2-Red-eyed Vireo; 2-No. Parula; 3-Magnolia Warbler; and 1-Am. Redstart
(male).
