Hi All,

The Kent County Bird Club will be doing their Fall Count all day on Sunday 18 September. In many counties this is a multi-party affair that endeavours to cover the entire land area of a county. In recent years our Kent County Fall and Winter counts tend to be one or two party counts. Nancy and I will be meeting Peter Mann on Sunday morning at Eastern Neck NWR. If I receive sufficient response we could offer another party their pick of the rest of the county. This could include the woods and fields of the Millington area, the Sassafras River valley, the necks that point southward into the Chester River, etc. Otherwise give Nancy and I a call and we'll get you set up to go with our party. The birds could be interesting in the wake of a tropical storm passing offshore.

Good Birding,

Walter Ellison
