I had my first Purple Finch arrive this afternoon for the fall season 05.  This one is a hatch year bird.  It had the red gape around the mouth.  I got a nice picture but will I need to get that website up someday before I can share it.

Most of the egrets have left the Mattawoman on Rt. 228.  The water level got too low.
