Today, my father and I went to the Sod Farm in Queen Anne's County to
check if the Golden Plovers and Buff Breasted Sandpipers were there. I would
have though they had already migrated through by now. They cleaned out the
sod, exposing the dirt. I though it would be a good day to see sandpipers.
But there wasn't anything.
But I found out 1 or 2 lonely GOLDEN PLOVERS were still there molting. No
sigh of the Buff Breasted Sandpipers.
I also found:
Killdeer couldn't even count
Least Sandpiper
Ring-billed Gull
Laughing Gull
Mourning Dove
Barn Swallow
Bank Swallow
Turkey Vulture
Starling
Happy Birding,
