Hi all --

I was out watering -- actually, setting up and moving a sprinkler -- this evening around 5:30 and there were some migrants in our yard. Several were attracted to the water and we enjoyed watching them bathe -- two Ruby-crowned Kinglets and 2-3 Black-throated Greens. Other warblers included an ORANGE-CROWNED (a rather dull one), along with a Pine, Blackpoll, Magnolia and Golden-crowned Kinglet, as well as several Scarlet tanagers. Other warblers remained unidentified as they flew high in the trees. Many were in our chokecherry tree which is still loaded with fruit (never seen this so late in the year before). There were also dozens of robins flocking about (some singing) and a lingering catbird or two.
