I was very happy to have my binoculars during an interesting and informative
guided walk at Olmsted Woods - a 5-acre section of the National Cathedral
grounds. In addition to the usual woodland and suburban birds, I saw: Palm
Warbler (western), Magnolia Warbler, both kinglets, Brown Creeper, White-throated
and Field Sparrows, Red-shouldered Hawk, and several Hermit Thrushes.
