I just got a note from Denis Qiinn that he saw a dickcissel at Turkey Point
yesterday (10/27). I think this is a first for that site?

He also saw brant flying down the bay, dozens of purple and house finches,
and a gray-cheeked thrush.

It was also an 89 raptor day.

Here's his note on the dickcissel:

The Dickcissel is at the lighthouse- looking from the (head high) Red
Cedar tree stump to the log or remains of the same tree in the
weeds/brush. It was sitting on the log looking at me for 10 seconds.
Yellow eyebrow on head and an oval of yellow on breast. It just
hopped into brush pile and I never saw it again.
