Not yet reported from the folks who went looking for the Neotropic Cormorant at Violette's Lock today, Sunday, October 30. While heading south on the tow path from Violette's Lock to Block House Point, two Peregrine Falcons were seen by several observers sitting on the rocks/bushes growing out of the rocks out in the River about 100 feet from the Maryland shore, readily visible from the tow path near the upriver end of the retaining wall. After sitting for a while, they flew up river and out of sight. This was about 11:45 Sunday morning.

But we missed seeing the Cormorant!!
