Please forgive the obsession; I'll stop after this. Today at about 1:00, one CHIMNEY SWIFT flew over the field and marsh at Southwest Area Park in Baltimore County. It only lingered for about 5 minutes.
If I'd had time I would have stayed to watch migrating hawks. In about 45 minutes I saw 3 Black Vultures, dozens of TV's, 2 adult Bald Eagle, 1 Sharpie, 1 Red-shouldered, and 9 Red-tailed. There were many, many gulls, just high specks mostly, but at least 3 Laughing. Also seen were 2 Killdeer, 1 Myrtle Warbler, 1 yellow Palm, 4 Savannah Sparrows and about 15 Song.
