Around 8:30 this morning, a Peregrine Falcon soared through the grounds at 
Woodend, the headquarters of the Audubon Naturalist Society, off Connecticut 
Avenue, in N. Chevy Chase.  It sped along the edge of the meadow that extends 
down towards Jones Mill Road and continued on towards D.C.  The size and flight 
silhouette made it unmistakable.
