Diving ducks on the Choptank

Greetings:

Lee and I decided to take advantage of the light winds and warmth to 
take "Phalarope" for a late season ride from Town Creek to Chlora Point.  
Plenty of common loons, at least 8 long-tailed ducks, 8 buffleheads, and a 
mixed flock of surf and black scoters about 150 strong were along the 
western shore of Chlora Point.  It was a treat to cut the engine and bask 
in the sun in short sleeves in November, listening to the sounds of these 
birds coming across the water.
