There were few birds out today during my lunchtime walk, but there were
a few notables:
At Constitution Gardens
A single Rusty Blackbird on the grass
Small flocks of Dark-eyed Juncos
A small flock of Ruby-crowned Kinglets
At the DC Veteran's Memorial
More Juncos
A single Red-bellied Woodpecker
At the FDR Memorial
A large flock kinglets, mostly Ruby-crowned, a few Golden-crowned
A Palm Warbler (did not get a good enough look to see with kind)
Flying over the Washington Channel
An immature Cooper's Hawk.
