Well, I got my Bausch and Lomb Discoverer binocs there in 2001, during the Cape May birding weekend. And they INSISTED that I go out and try them before I bought them. As I recall, there were two B & L pairs that I tried that October day, but the one I have now was the one I liked the best. Prior to that, I had a pair of binocs that I had bought at the discovery Store in the mall in Syracuse, NY, and I had gotten to a point where I couldn't see ANYTHING with them, and I was trying to scope everything. Can you imagine trying to SCOPE a Golden-crowned Kinglet?

I've also purchased binocs through Eagle Optics; in fact, I got my wife a pair of Zeiss butterfly binocs through them.

I would recommend either; though I am sure that Cape May is closer to the area we are in :)

Yes...I went over there in search of a scope and would recommend it to anyone. I chose the big fall weekend when literally ALL the optic mfgrs were present. One of the CMBO staff took me under his wing (forget his name). He kept the mfgrs at bay while working with me to compare each scope and narrow my requirements until I got the best scope for my bucks. I am very grateful to him because he didn't let the salesmen talk me into a 'name' brand. And he didn't exert any pressure....just the opposite.
