Greetings,

I have recently had a change of locale as for as my job goes. I have been
moved from the Edgewood Area of APG to the Aberdeen Area of APG.

During the last few days I have noticed increasing numbers of waterfolw
(finally) here. This includes the following bodies of water: Chesapeake Bay
inside the fishing battery south of the Susquehanna Flats, The bay east of
Turkey Point, the mouth of Swan Creek, and Spesutie Narrows. the later is
completly within the "off limits" area of APG and is probably not birded
very often. It is, however, hunted with permission from the base.

The birds: Just in the last few days duck numbers have been on the increase
with 50 or so Redheads, along with a good number (200+) scaup sp. (Spesutie
Narrows). 50 or more Forster's Tern and a lone DC Corm were in the same
area along with 100+ Black Ducks, a few mallards, 4 Mute Swan, and 4 Tundra
Swan. Last week I had 2 Kestrals, a Peregrin, and two Red-taileds flying
over the base (down range). The later seemed to be residents. Of course
Bald Eagles are EVERYWHERE here as are Black and Turkey Vultures.

Good Birding,
