A fresh, dead American Woodcock was found outside the door of an apartment 
on the third floor in Frederick city (Crystal Park Apartment complex) on 
Nov 15 evening.  No wound or lesion was found on the body.  We couldn't 
figure out how it ended up inside the apartment building though.  It is an 
open building but any bird would have to take quite some curvy flight to 
get to the corner when we found it.
