My son and I journeyed down Elliot Island Road looking for the
Snowy Owl.  We were there between 12:00 and 1:00 and had no luck
in finding it.  There were numerous northern harriers around and one rough 
legged hawk.  We also spotted one meadowlark sitting on a wire just below 
the christmas display.
Sigh ... maybe next time.
