Re Gail M's post saying that the Starlings have not yet visited her feeders in large numbers this season.  Typcially, the neighborhood Starlings do not come to my feeders in numbers in fall or early winter, but take over the place in late winter and early spring.  Do they wait until other food is exhausted?
