We also discovered a large Robin roost on the Tridelphia count -- in the Stonegate subdivision, north of Bonifant Rd. in Silver Spring. We could hear the birds calling and singing just after dawn from about 1/4 mile away (!). By the time we got to the place ( agrove of trees with any fruiting vines), the birds were flying out in all directions and we only had about 200 or so come over us. Unfortunately, no Redwings were seen! At the tally, many others reported large numbers of robins.
