I just got a call from Ms. Jeanie Ping.  She reported two Brown Pelicans floating in the Potomac off her 150 foot pier.  She lives on the south side of Cobb Island.  The network works.

A good December bird, and excellent for county listers, since there are only a handful of records of this species in Charles County.
