Hi all,
I went up to Black Hill Reg'l Park this morning to see if the winds blew in
anything unusual.
I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but had some nice birds none the
less. About 70 Tundra Swans were on the water seen from the end of Cold
Springs trail (the Ten Mile Creek area), along with about 40 Canvasbacks (there
were more elsewhere), some Buffleheads, Ring-necks, Black Ducks Mallards, and a
good number of Common Mergansers (good number for this location, not
compared to Brighton Dam though), as well as a few Hooded Mergs. There were also
Ruddy Ducks here.

From the Rt 121 bridge, American Coots, Ruddy Ducks, a Pied-billed Grebe,
and Buffleheads. In the cove near the bridge on the "windy" side of the lake,
more Canvasbacks and Ring-necks, plus Hooded Mergs and Buffleheads.

From the visitor center deck; a pair of adult Bald Eagles soaring right over
the visitor center, Herring and Ring-billed Gulls.

A bit nippy out there today...
