Hi all,

Earlier today I made several stops for Baltimore
Bird Club's Mid-Winter Bird Count. The best bird of
the day was a pale-bellied "Atlantic" Brant grazing in
grasses with Canada geese at Back River Waste Water
Treatment Plant. I made a call to a birder and never
return a call. It was still there when I left for
another stop. I remember last time we had a Brant
actually two Brants at Ft. McHenry back in Nov 2004.
Later in the afternoon, there was a imm. Black-crowned
Night Heron sleeping at Oxygen Pond in Sparrows POint
with 4 Great BLue Herons. Both are new to
Mid-Winter Bird Count. Will post full list in the
morning.
