This morning I had the following birds in the National Arboretum.

Pied-billed Grebe
Bald Eagle
Red-shouldered Hawk
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Golden-crowned Kinglet
Winter Wren
Eastern Bluebird
Hermit Thrush
Brown Creeper

Unfortunately I was unable to locate a red-breasted nuthatch this
morning. I looked in the usual places, but did not find any.

Earlier in the day, I saw a sharp-shinned hawk harassing a red-tailed
hawk in the park across from Union Station.

Good birding,

John Beetham
