The House Wren(s) spotted on Jan 13 at Oxon Hill, on the slope above the
bike trail, were present again today (Mon) at the same place, sheltering
in cat-tails. Here too is a string of ponds, and on one of them was a
Tundra Swan - unusual for that locale - along with ~ 24 Mallards. Most
of the Mallards seemed already paired.

Some male Red-wings were aleady in song.
