Arrived at Ruff location yesterday at 2:00 p.m.--Snipe and G Yellowlegs present.  Two Frederick birders had been there since 11:00 a.m. but had not seen it.   Ruff flew in at exactly 3:19 p.m.  No other shorebirds were with it.  

Quick trip through Blackwater NWR.  3 Pelicans were with the Tundra Swans at 4:10 p.m.  Someone reported seeing a Ross's Goose in the morning.  Many Snow Geese but most were in the grass by the visitor center making it very hard to scope them.
