I didn't get a chance to write this up yesterday, but my lunchtime walk
around the Tidal Basin produced the following:

   Flocks of American Robins in the FDR Memorial

   A couple dozen Lesser Scaup in the Tidal Basin

   A female Bufflehead (ditto)

   A male Common Merganser (ditto)

   An adult Bald Eagle soaring low over the Tidal Basin - very dramatic!
