I started out a Ft. Mchenry, at about 10:00. Nothing amazing, a large
group of wigeon, plentiful bufflehead, no sign of the glacous gull, a
cold and windy start to the day.

Much more interesting was the attempted Short Eared Owl trip to
Bigham Road in s. Pa. I'm puzzled by the owls' disappearance, i
followed the instructions to a tee, but found no sign of owls by the
first farmhouse. I was there until 4:30, perhaps i was too early. Any
additional information about the owls' location would be appreciated.
Sightings at Bigham Road included
Sharp-Shinned Hawk
Kestrel
MERLIN
Red-Tail
Eastern Meadowlark (12)
Horned Lark (30)
Northern Flicker
and other normal winter birds.
