Hello all.
Today, I wandered in some of my usual haunts (along with a new one) in
Northern Anne Arundel County. Weinberg Park still has storm damage but is
able to be surveyed and everything bird-wise was basically the same, with
the RH Woodpecker wintering and amazing Towhee numbers.
I decided to check out another area, found on AA County ADC Map number 3,
coordinates H-11. It is properly called "Solley's Cove Park" and is on
Carbide Road along Curtis Creek. There is no development on the park land
and even though the woods aren't impressive, the area is as isolated as any
in this part of the county, so I'll keep an eye on it.
