So, do Sharpies nest in Maryland? I am wondering whether the one
that has been hunting near my bird feeder for the past several weeks
is planning on staying. It's a young bird but I notice that its eyes are
no longer a clear lemon yellow, but more of a yellow-orange, and
it is getting gray feathers on its back. I wonder if it is at the age where
hawks think about housekeeping.

Of course, it perched right outside the window this afternoon, shortly
after I removed the camera's batteries to recharge them. I'd like to
get a photo of it swooping around the trees.
