Hi all just a quick note to    to report   I  could  not resist a last  try 
for the Backyard bird count  yesterday afternoon after work . I  went to wye 
Island in Queen Annes County   nice and close  to work and all .   Though a 
few sightings were made   on the Wye Research Center property
birds seen

Canada Geese    3,000   in various flocks scattered around
Snow Geese     2  total     1 each in 2 differant flocks    both  Blue phase 
snows
Black Ducks     9
Buffleheads    15
Lesser Scaup  6
Canvasback    3
Mallard      3
Black  Vulture      4        on Wye  Research  center  grounds
Turkey  Vultre       2          Wye Research Center grounds
Bald  Eagle      1   adult  on the nest at Wye island
Great Blue  Heron     3
Red  Bellied  Woodpecker       1
White Breasted Nuthatch       1
Mourning Dove     15
Savannah  Sparrow     3       Wye  Research   grounds
Song  Sparrow   5
White throated Sparrow  5
Cardinal       2
