Tyler,

It could have been here all winter, it was certainly mild enough. However,
in the last 3 days at work in the tower at BWI I have observed numerous
flocks of migrant blackbirds and grackles flying north over the airfield, so
birds are certainly on the move. Tonight at 5:10 in the evening, the Kestrel
Falcon that has been nesting under the tower for the past several years
returned for the first time since last fall.

How this for a Spring arrival. I saw an

    Eastern Pboebe

in eastern Sykesville at the grounds of Springfield Hospital near to where I
work.
This is southeastern Carroll County - not far from Howard County and
Patapsaco State Park.

(Or count the bird have been hear all winter?)

  Good birding!
