Since last October I have seen an adult red-shouldered hawk perched  
alongside Rt 450, just west of Bowie, MD. at least 5 times a week.  I pass  there 2-3 
times a day. It is usually somewhere between MD 197 and High Bridge  Road, 
often in the saplings near the drainage pond on the south side of road  across 
from the Red Willow development.  This morning at 10:10 it flew  across the road 
there with breakfast in its talons. Great looks at a beautiful  bird.
