On March 4 my wife and I saw the first winter Glaucous Gull at the end of Oakley Street in Cambridge. It was resting on the low stone wall nest to the water. On the water here was a large flock of Canvasbacks with a few Redhead and American Wigeon mixed in. There were many Surf Scoters all along the Cambridge waterfront from the visitor center near US 50 to Great Marsh Park. Only saw one drake Black Scoter and Long-tailed Duck, both in Cambridge Creek, at the end of Commerce Street.
