Curiosity led me to Columbia in search of the Yellowthroat. After
all the Nashville Warbler found in Baltimore was not expected to be
around in January and February but it was. I searched the area
between 8 and 9:30 this morning without luck. There was a good
number of birds in the trees and bushes including numerous Cardinals,
White-throated sparrows, and ten other species of the usual variety.
