Hi All,

Nancy Martin and Walter Ellison will be conducting a Leaders Choice Trip in Kent County this weekend. Our choice is Quaker Neck southwest of Chestertown with its good mix of farm fields, woodlots, ponds and sweeping views of the Chester River from its two public landings. We plan on this being a half-day trip, but hardy souls who wish an extension are invited to join us as we go to Eastern Neck NWR after noon in search of Brown-headed Nuthatches and more late winter waterfowl.

We will meet participants at the Dollar General Store (the one with the A&P cupola) parking lot across from the vulture roost at the end of Spring St. on MD-213 at 7:00 AM. Feel free to call ahead or e-mail us if you have questions.

Good Birding,

Walter Ellison
