I was delighted to hear my first Eastern Phoebes of the season today at 
the Daniels area of Patapsco Valley S.P. (Howard County side). Spring is 
coming! There were at least three singing, even though it was late 
afternoon. Is this unusually early for them to be here?

The other highlights were an immature Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and a 
Winter Wren, plus a Hairy Woodpecker and all the usual suspects.
