One could argue that the ABA articles are only mirroring the creeping
globalization that appears to be affecting everthing these days.  With many
of us travelling more often abroad and with increasing diversification of
the U.S. population, perhaps ABA is attempting to appeal to a broader
audience.  I concur that the current issue has little to do with American
birding; however, the article on birding in Spain does have personal appeal
since I plan to travel to that country next month.
