Hi Ted,

Thank you so much for this!  I, for one, have read Birding for years and as
I posted on MDOsprey, it's among only a handful of publications that I read.
More importantly, I recently joined the ABA (after years of
procrastination...) because I support organizations that have an effective
strategy to protect what Birders really care about most (or should) - Birds.


The good ol' days are right here, as Carly Simon would say!!  Memory
falters, but you know what?  The bluebirds that are checking out our nest
boxes this morning are as bright and crisp and amazing as when I saw my
first one.  There's the magic for me.
