The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission has put out proposals 
regarding management plans for the Horseshoe Crab. YOu can read all about it on their 
website  http://www.asmfc.org/  and click on "public input". Scroll down 
until you see the HC mgmt proposals. They are downloadable as a PDF File.

Comments can be sent via email to    -  If you not inclined 
to view the documents, please just send them an email stating your support 
for a moratorium and your opposition to a "Males only" harvest. All public 
comments are due by  5PM, MON, APRIL 17th.  Our coalition is trying to generate 
20,000 comments by then.

We are also looking for some dedicated volunteers (10 - 20) to attend the 
Public Hearing at the following location.
