A trip to Blackwater NWR this afternoon was rewarded with another view
of the five White Pelicans that have been in the vicinity since last
Christmas.  The place was also practically swarming in Bald Eagles.  The
eaglets in the nest that is being monitored by camera seem to be doing fine,
though the older of the two remains quite bossy.  Both young are beginning
to feed themselves when food is brought in.  Other Blackwater sightings
included several Greater Yellowlegs and several Northern Shovelers.
