This Tuesday evening, April 4, Walter Ellison, State Coordinator
of the Second Maryland/DC Breeding Bird Atlas Project, will give a
talk at the Cylburn Mansion on "Sparrows: Identifying Little
Brown Birds". His presentation includes all of the regularly
occurring sparrows of Maryland. His slides are mostly of banded
birds in the hand. This enables Walter to point out numerous
plumage and structural details. In addition, he will also discuss
habitat and voice.
Please join the Baltimore Bird Club at 7:15 for refreshments and
Walter's talk which will begin at 8:00.
