Dear All
Went out to Rock Creek this morning for the first time this spring. It was
a bit chilly (the door on the car was iced shut overnight) and although
pleasantly sunny was a fairly quiet morning birdwise with no active visible
migration to speak of. High spots were a single Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, 3
Black & White Warblers, a Red-shouldered Hawk and 5 Hermit Thrushes in the
Maintenance Yard plus a Field Sparrow at the Dog Run.
I met another birder who had seena Palm Warbler near the stable block.
Small sign of spring but no great rush on as yet..
Cheers
